Julia then proceeded to muck up any possibility for a sensible life by falling
passionately in love with India. Since 1976, she has made over 35 trips
there and has spent about 2 ½ years travelling to just about every
corner of that amazing subcontinent.
In 1978, she discovered that, by being a travel agent, she could actually make a living from this strange obsession, and she has spent the last 23 years helping India bound travellers achieve their trip of a lifetime. Julia currently resides in Pristina, Kosovo and works through Bryan International Travel in San Mateo, CA (www.bryantravel.com).
India is exotic, colorful, magical, thought-provoking, exasperating, overwhelming, spectacular, and life-changing. But, above all, it is infinitely diverse and complicated. For four thousand years, successive civilizations have left layers upon layers of fascinating cultures. India truly has something meaningful for almost everyone. Where do you even start to plan the trip that will be right for you?
Besides the basic question of "where", consider what is the best way to accomplish this. Do you want the complete freedom that travelling on your own offers? Do you want the comfort and flexibility of a privately arranged trip? Do you prefer the camaraderie of going on a trip with a group of like-minded travellers? What tour company is right for your needs? Do you want to travel by car, train, bus, or plane, bicycle, motorcycle, camel, or on foot? Each of these - and many more - options has advantages and disadvantages that need to be carefully balanced if a trip is to become a journey.
We would love to work with you! Take a look through this web site, and e-mail or call Julia when it's time to start planning.
Namaste! Wishing you a fabulous trip full of magical little surprises.
